Property was beside a very sandy, clean, beach(Swords Beach), approximately 1-1.5km walk in either direction to a restaurant. Beautiful to go out and watch the sunrise in the morning. Good location to cycle to nearby Ouistreham and Pegasus Bridge or a short drive to Caen, Bayeux, Omaha Beach and the American graveyard. Host was very welcoming and gave us lots of local information.

The apartment was spotless. It was spacious and cosy. The furniture was very comfortable. It had a great little kitchen. Great location. Only 10min walk from the centre of town. Great bakeries and a few nice restaurants nearby. Beach was within walking distance. The apartment is just 20min outside of Caen and the nearest motorways which made site seeing easy.

Fabulous accommodation with plush high end finishes. Everything looked brand new. Very comfortable bed. Immaculately clean and well presented. Electric shutters on all windows and nice outdoor seating areas. Kind and welcoming owners in accommodation on the ground floor. Helpful but unobtrusive.
