We were driving in France for 17 days, and this was the nicest property we stayed at. We stayed in Studio 2 and it is beautifully decorated. All the amenities are first class. Kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is huge with double sinks. You don’t find that very often in Europe. The bedroom is very large with lots of room to open your suitcases. The air conditioning worked well and there is plenty of natural light in the unit with windows that open if you prefer fresh air! There is a private entrance to both units. Studio 2 is on the top floor and there is a staircase to access it. The two units share a sun-room full of tourism pamphlets on the Loire Valley attractions and restaurant suggestions. Private parking is included. Atelier Vinci is in a residential area, and is approximately 2.5 km from the downtown core. We had a car, so this was no issue for us. Also, Amboise offers plenty of parking near the core, on the riverfront. We would zip down for supper. For restaurants, we recommend advanced reservations for the top rated restaurants, because many are tiny and fill up quickly. For those who would rather wander, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from where reservations are not needed. Amboise is the place to stay in the Loire Valley. It is smaller and much easier to negotiate. Thanks Gregory and Lea for being such wonderful hosts!

This was an excellent stay, excellent host and excellent apartment, excellent location. I booked the location online, I love it so much that I wanted to stay another night to celebrate my birthday. They were very quick in responding, all positive and gave me several options. The day before my birthday my dad surprised me, arrived from The Netherlands to surprise me for my birthday. He did not want me to spend it alone. I reported this right away, since I did not want any issues. This too was not a problem. My dad was able to stay and for no additional costs/fees. The apartment is located close to all mayor attractions, stores, supermarket and restaurants. In the apartment they have all info on what do and what to see in Amboise & surroundings. They welcomed me with a bottle of champagne & delicious cookies. The apartment has everything you need, just everything. I have travelled the world , stayed at many places and I definitely recommend this place. My birthday could not have started better. The hosts are quick in responding, are easy going and everything is well organized. There is also a free parking spot.They also make you feel right at home. I hope to return in the near future.
