There was a grocery store K- kauppa at 10 min walking distance. The apartment kitchen had everything needed for meal prep. Apartment was clean and well organized, comfortable and welcoming. Safe walking distance to farmers market at center square and most of the stores as well as historic parts of the city. The apartment building as well as the whole city is very clean, feels safe and friendly.

Our stay at the apartment in Loviisa was nothing short of exceptional. Situated at the heart of the city, its location couldn't have been more perfect, offering easy access to all the attractions Loviisa has to offer. The apartment itself was a haven of comfort and cleanliness, boasting ample space and a remarkable array of amenities. From the convenience of Wi-Fi and a dishwasher to the luxurious indulgence of a bathtub, every need was thoughtfully catered to. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the hospitality of our host, Tuula. Not only was she incredibly accommodating, but her wealth of knowledge about Loviisa ensured that we were able to make the most of our time there. Her recommendations for local attractions and eateries were spot-on, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. In summary, our stay at this apartment was a delightful experience from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Loviisa. We certainly plan to return in the future.

The apartment was sparkling clean, with good quality sheets and towels. Everything is just a short walk away, yet the garden ( shared with the large villa of the wonderful hosts) is very peaceful.

No Internet, no answer to E-mail. No breakfast. The bed is on rough wooden pallets sticking out all sides, huge trip/injury hazard. Bed sideways in front of TV. I laid against the wooden board on the wall to watch TV and then found someone' snot ball on my hair. Toilet is so small that the door can not be closed. Water in shower does not hold temperature. We also wondered about fire safety in this place. Could not even provide regular towels, but some super rough towels from the 70's used in sauna. Flea market furniture! Disgusting, nasty place that should not be allowed to stay open.
