A really nice homely apartment, unlike some rental apartments, which are sparce and cold, El Rinconcito was furnished with a lot of thought and care, which made it feel very welcoming. Sonia was very helpful, and the complex was clean and quiet. We arrived a bit early in the season, so the whole area had not come to life yet, but what we did see looked nice. Not your rowdy beach front venues.

Nothing. Apartment was not clean, we had to buy cleaning materials and spent a day making it liveable. Some appliances were not working, others not available. Exterior was covered in red dust and had to hose it down and clean furniture. Wardrobes, cupboards and drawers were full of owner's stuff so no place for our clothes etc. Beds were not made and had to sort through pile of linen and towels to find ones that fit etc. BBQ was filthy and not fit to be used.
