This is our third stay at La Casa del Recreo and it is a very charming , quirky place to stay. Clean, good location with an excellent terrace on the top floor. A bit dark in the apartment but all modcons are there. The owner is super friendly and helpful and it is a great price . The breakfast was A1, in the owner's restaurant , which is also AI.

Amazing location with a great view over Cómpeta, the hills and the Mediterranean in the distance. Comfortable and nicely decorated apartment with AC and good WiFi. Big terrace with a barbecue, we ate outside every day. Although the pool is shared with the other apartment we had it mostly to ourselves, and it’s a really nice pool with plenty of sunbeds, chairs and shade around.

Fantastic modern apartment, close to the centre of Competa. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is well equipped with kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine etc., everything you need for your stay. Two terraces, one generally shaded with a BBQ, and a sunny roof terrace with 360 degree views. Lidia was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. I would highly recommend booking this apartment, if you are holidaying in Competa.

most charming, personable, cozy, so home like… been in Spain for 20 days and this place tops all others though I stayed at very very nice places some quite pricey. this is also the most under-priced. i would have paid much more for such accommodation. it is seconds away from main square and the owner is as charming as her place. not sure if she did the decoration and little touches, but everything I saw in the room was lovely yet so practical. there is also a lovely terrace that overlooks the whole city. wifi great and room temperature excellent. no outside noise heard at all

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and right in the centre of Competa. Extremely generous outside space with super views down the valley to the sea. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom modern and clean. The location proved to be perfect for trail running/walking in the mountains and the apartment is a 2 minute stroll for post run beer in the town square!

We loved the views from the terrace and smell of jasmine in the air. The bed was comfy too.
