Breakfast was not offered, as the accommodation was self-catering - the owners took a personal interest in my work and personal life, but were not intrusive - they allowed me into their own garden - I liked the quiet location and privacy - they had English channels on their TV, which I appreciated, especially in that part of Germany, and the Wifi signal was strong, even though we were in the mountains - I will book another holiday there in the autumn
