Every detail is perfect. Our host Marcelo and his wife Gloria are very warming. They treated us like best friends, with hot tea at our first come and late afternoon snacks when we finish touring . They always communicate with us to understand our needs and very patient to give us suggestions on our tours. Maycho，another staff, also help us arrange all of our tours on our first day. He recommend some of the best spots and make this small city so attractive and fun. They are definitely the best hosts during my travel history. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruit and homemade special scramble eggs. Room is warm and fuzzy, and the garden view is amazing!!! It’s my honor and privilege to stay in this house and I definitely recommend it to everyone!

La Casa Bonita is a lovely wee place. So comfy and light and sunny (when the sun is out of course!). It has everything you could need including the most comfortable, large bed. Marielitos, the host, is super chill, friendly, accommodating and helpful - and she makes the best breakfasts! A great value place for sure. Tip: If you want a wildlife/bird guide, ask Marielitos for Roy’s number. He is one of the most experienced guides in the area and truly superb.

Everything was great. It was a welcoming stay. Ana and her dad were friendly breakfast company. Breakfast was delicious. The accomodations were comfortable with a nice view of the lovely gardens and the nicoya peninsula. Ana gave me a tour of her pottery workshop... I went home with some beautiful art pieces too.

There is a large supermarket to drive to and a small market 2 doors down. There is also a playground down the street with a beautiful nature trail. The apartment is out of the center offering a view and quiet. The owners are lovely people, always available. We highly recommend.

We loved the quiet location but the road leading up to it is quite bumpy so you have to take it slow and it's very dark at night. Very nice stay! Extremely calm and a great view! The room has everything you need, the bed is comfy, kitchen well equiped and the bathroom also. All is very clean ! The balcony is very spacious, you can really see the ocean from there and there is a lot of greenery around! We passed plenty of time on the balcony watching the birds with binoculars, because there are plenty around.
