This apartment exceeded all of our expectations, It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Grindelwald and we will be recommending it to all of our friends. The photo I’ve added is the view from the apartment. It is stunning. The apartment is fully self contained and spacious, with a seperate bedroom and living area which is hard to find! Very quite and private area. The kitchen is fully prepared with cooking utensils. The walk down to main town is about 10 minutes, but is very steep on the way up. If you don’t want to walk up or down there is a bus stop 1 minute walk from the property (122 bus) which is easy and runs every 30 minutes until 6.30pm. We couldn’t fault this apartment at all. We came to Switzerland for our honeymoon and stayed at Chalet Ribi while we were in Grindelwald. Prior to arrival, the host was easy to talk with, responsive, and helpful. The space was clean, there was a separate bedroom, and the views from the balcony (onto the Metterberg peak, we think) were gorgeous. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. For example, I used the tea kettle and mugs every day. The water pressure in the bathroom was great and the water was hot. The bathroom floor was even somewhat heated and cozy. We came during the offseason, but Grindelwald was packed for some reason. We were pleasantly surprised that our building was quiet and peaceful. It felt isolated, in a good and safe way. The sauna on the balcony was incredible, especially after a long day of hiking. We loved the beautiful church bells, and on Sunday, they played for a full 15 minutes -- it was a magical sendoff! If you're looking for places to eat, please go to Hotel Alpenblick around the corner! We went there THREE TIMES during our stay, and it was cozy, delicious, and left out bodies feeling good. Get their soups, "Cocotte Alpenblick," and their warm chocolate tart. We also loved their seasonal menu -- they served a lot of local game. Around the area, we went hiking from the Pfingstegg gondola to Berghaus Bäregg, but the cablecar was not covered by the Jungfrau pass. First Mountain is nearby, and there are a lot of popular hikes up there -- we went to Bachalpsee Lakes -- but we LOVED the mountain carts and highly recommend. We also had an easy time taking the train and other cablecars to go hiking further away in other areas. Grindelwald was a good center, especially since we liked the town's personality better than Wengen's, Murren's, or Interlaken's. Overall, Chalet Ribi felt cozy and romantic and was perfect for us, both as an accommodation and as a center in Grindelwald.

Fabulous, everything was perfect from the breathtaking views to the beautiful spotlessly clean appartment. The pictures do not do it justice. We were amazed from start to finish. Close to everything you need from restaurants to cable cars, we did the adventure package at first which was amazing going down the mountain by zip lines; go carts and trotti bikes. Jungraujoch is a must, check your travel insurance for winter sports cover as 78 year old mum had a sledging accident and the helicopter rescue was not covered by the insurance for sledging on snow. (Bruised but nothing broken) Even with the accident our six days have been a holiday beyond our expectations, we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. SPECTACULAR ❤️

I have also appreciated that it had a parking place because we went there by car. The views are stunning of course :), it's Grindelwald.

The apartment is very close to the train station and also the bus terminal 👌 the apartment is so warm and cosy 😍 it’s a quite old fashioned in the flat but the location is fabulous and it’s very comfortable. The kitchen is very well kitted out 👌

The apartment was clean and satisfactory for our 2 night stay with all the amenities needed to cook full meals. A Coop is only a few minutes walk which is ideal when you are self catering. There are great window views of the surrounding scenery whilst also being a very short walk to the center of Grindelwald. One bedroom is upstairs with a low ceiling, ideal for kids or adults who don't mind a tight squeeze.ThomasGroup

My kids really enjoyed the books and games available in the flat. Apartment was very clean. Kitchen had all required stuffs. Bathroom was spacious. Owner also provided juice and cookies. We had great staying in this beautiful place.
