We had a wonderful stay at Apartment de Paprente in Merkem. The apartment is really comfortable and clean and has everything you need for your stay. We really appreciated the special touches from Lucrece and her husband such as little cakes on our arrival and beers/water in fridge to buy. Lovely kind and friendly hosts. We travelled by bike and there was a great space to lock our bikes safely. The breakfast was amazing - lots of lovely fresh produce (including amazing homemade juice made from apples from the garden) and cheese, meats and pastries. We had a lovely relaxing stay and felt very welcome.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to see in the area, we were met by the host who showed us around the apartment and explained all, the apartment was spotless, there were restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We would definitely love to stay there again.

It was an ideal location for our excursions. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well stocked with towels,toilet paper,soap,kitchen appliances and eating wear. There is an Aldi store located in Langemark approx 2 min drive from the accommodation plus an excellent pizza shop with a vast selection of pizzas to choose from and great value for money. I would highly recommend this property to prospective renters.

Beautiful, comfortable, wonderful breakfast, and the gardens were lovely. We didn’t even use the hot tub but we will next time. Hosts were quick to respond and seemed quite nice. We also loved looking at all the interesting books in the bookshelves

We got a warm welcome to the property. Inside is warm and comfortable. It is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Our host had also provided some wonderful provisions! We had our own parking area. It is very quiet and restful. The location on the eastern side of the salient is excellent for visiting the memorials. and just 15 minutes to Ypres. We would love to stay next year.
