Especially impressive was the antique furniture in the rooms and the original oil paintings on the walls. The hospitality was with the highest quality while the food saloon creats the feeling as of an aristocratic dining room.

It is a 1 minute walk from Bologna's central piazza with lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby. (FWIW it is a 20 min walk from the train station through the main shopping area) We spent 4 nights here with 3 days spent on the various sites in Bologna and 1 day trip to Modena. Bologna is a beautiful city with its many km of porticos and its illustrious university. Known for its cuisine Bologna is not to be missed. Paulo was a gracious and very helpful host. When we go back to Bologna this is where we will stay again.

There are a number of beach clubs along the coast that are all walkable, but I highly recommend the beach club and restaurant that has the same owners, bagnotessi 86. It is a 5 minute walk. Many regulars and locals are there. The room was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults and 5 and 2 year old). We had a cute balcony off the street. The location is all new and very clean. The bathroom and shower were very pretty. Both Denis and Maria Angela work really hard to create an experience. We were there for 3 days and we felt so welcomed. Mary Angela is very warm. When we arrived, she showed us how easy it was to get to the beach. After spending some time in the sea, we were greeted by Denis with yummy sparkling wine and he chatted with us as our kids jumped on the trampoline and played on the swingset. It was a fantastic stay in Cesenatico.
