Amazing views of the castle and port, beautiful room with nice touches, kitchenette, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, very kind and helpful hosts and amazing breakfast, home baked pastries and cakes which was different everyday! Our stay was excellent, and I highly recommend it if you want to fully experience Greek hospitality and a comfortable stay. The hosts very kindly prepared the room earlier than the check in time for us, we had different pastries for breakfast in our room every day, the room was beautiful, and the place was so quiet and chilled. They took very good care of us, and everyone was very kind, responsive and very helpful whenever we needed help. We loved our stay and we would definitely go back to it! Overlooking the bay of Maltezana, the charming Castellano Village features a kidney-shaped pool with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. The beaches of Ble Limanaki and Plakes are within walking distance. This was our first time in Astypalaia and staying at Castellano Village made it an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located at a very lovely spot in the middle of the island with an amazing view of the sea. What makes it more special is the exceptional service of the owners, Nicolas and Christina. They make sure you get all the information you need to enjoy the surrounding area and the island. The hotel has a nice pool and a small taverna with great service. The room was clean and with nice details and you can enjoy watching the sunset from the balcony. Amazing beaches are accessible by foot, including Blue Harbour (Μπλε Λιμανάκι) and Plakes (Πλακες). We definitely recommend staying here if you visit Astypalaia!

The rooms were very clean. Next to the rooms there was a nice little beach for a morning dive (2min. walk). The rooms had a sea/beach view, which was amazing. The perfect getaway! The rooms were very quiet and only 10min walk to town. The biggest supermarket of the island was round the corner. We would definitely recommend Votsalo! The overall experience of our stay was very good!
