Roost is an unexpected treasure in the city of Brotherly Love. It is clean, well-designed, and the decor is minimal and tasteful. The kitchen is amazing--Fisher-Paykel fridge and gas range, Bosch DW, washer/dryer, and Mom's Organic Foods across the street--I was tempted to stay forever. Also there's a heated pool (yes, people were swimming in January!) and a great gym. Great neighborhood with so many restaurants for take-out and delivery. A short walk to Reading Terminal Market, which has gotten too touristy, but still has good meats and fish, and some produce, but Mom's was really the best, and close by--a locally-owned Whole Foods type place. We were there for a stay at Jefferson U. Hospital, which is a block away, and a safe walk day or night, so it's a wonderful location for a visiting family member. Seems like many doctors stay at Roost. There are two others in the city. And affordable--cheaper than any of the major hotels. For an extended stay, it can't be beat. Everyone is masked and safe. Thank you Roost for being here!

Superb accommodation. Beautifully decorated. We spent 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. We had 2 large bedrooms with king size extremely comfortable beds. We did not cook during our stay but all appliances we could see were top quality. The attention to detail in this property is excellent. We highly recommend a stay here as its the perfect location. Very quiet building - eventhough it’s city centre location the sound insulation is very good. We can highly recommend this property and will be staying here on our next trip.

This hotel/apartment was an absolute gem. From now on I won't want to stay anywhere else. They even had an electric cattle which for Europeans is a must in the kitchen. A part that the place felt like I am the first one to enter to the apartment. I have never felt this much comfort away from my home. To be honest I wanted to extend my stay just because I wanted to enjoy the place a little bit more. The cleanest place I've ever stayed, the easiest check in, the most comfortable matrass. it was just a wow.

My family and I (wife and 9-year-old daughter) spent more than ten days at the Sonder the Sloan Philadelphia for business and pleasure and had a very good experience. The location is simply unbeatable for an agenda that involves the University City area, the infrastructure is another outstanding experience with very modern furniture and facilities and an equally very prepared service team. I would definitely recommend Sonder the Sloan and will stay again in the future.

Location is great, just few steps from the liberty bell and other attractions. We love the historical vibe of the binding itself. The apartment is more spacious than a typical hotel room which is a welcome change coming from NY.
