We arrived earlier than planned but it was no problem for the kind host. The apartment (il timone) is big (3 bedrooms), with a spacious terrace and a nice view. The location is great, a couple of minutes by foot to the sandy beach.

We arrived 3am, but we still got help to park and check in. We even got to check out 12 am instead of 10 am so we could get a good night's sleep despite our late arrival. 10/10!

Close to the beach, and you can reach most bars and restaurants in 5minutes, just a few steps you can enjoy the beach view, and you got a private beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We really enjoy the stay in Palinuro.

We booked last minute (because we wanted to see the location first) and they managed to offer us a quick check in regardless. We were travelling in low season, so we did not expect full service, but Raffaela and Antonio went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and goods. They gave us a welcome gift (wine and sweets) and checked in on us several times if there was anything we needed. The apartment is really nice and has everything that you need. We stayed upstairs, to get the beautiful view from the balcony. It was covered, so we could enjoy that even in rain. In the downstairs apartments you have a terrace and more outside space, but we wanted the view. The location is absolutely perfect, just 10 metres to the beach. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, we still spent a few hours with our little daughter at the beach - we had it all to ourselves. The view fron the balcony was great and you could hear the sea all night and see the stars. The beds are comfortable and we found everything in the kitchen we needed to cook our own meals. This is clearly a place where you can stay a few weeks with a family to enjoy your holidays. We only had two days but thoroughly enjoyed it.

During my stay, I particularly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of Fonteluna. It was a perfect retreat for unwinding and recharging. The absence of noise and distractions allowed me to fully immerse myself in the tranquility of the surroundings and truly relax.
