One of the best places we have stayed along the years of visiting cyclades and Dodecanese. Small but nice breakfast is included and renewed daily, and every works as expected. Great view of the castle. Mr Giannis was always helpful and accommodating with anything we might have needed.

WOW! We have always feeling that we are treeted like first visitors. Was always great to see smiling faces of our hosts! Location is great with spectacular view at castle of Hora. Interiors are designed with good taste. Every day cleannin, soft towels... Beds are very comfortable. Our hosts refilled every day our fridge with fresh fruits and all needed things. Alwayst ready to advice where to go, what is worth to see.... Shis was very common at Astipalaya, this unique hospitality in every restaurant... owner of Marcos supermarket was delivering our shoppings to the appartment.... Thank you a lot!

This was my best vacation yet! This hôtel stay was fabulous. My sister and I were greeted like long awaited family. Pastries were brought to us the next morning. Recommendations of where to go and eat enthusiastically provided. I honestly feel like I reunited with long lost family staying here.

When traveling we usually spend one part of it for exploring and visiting as many places as we can. The other part we like to spend more time in the hotel and just relax, so we look for properties that can accomodate this. And this place had it all - we just couldn't get enough of the pool, the garden, the upper patio. Add to this the great and rich breakfast, quiet surrounding and great people running the place and we could easily stay there for a week. There are several good restauranst and groceries around and also bus/asty-move stop. We had a great time and would visit again this hotel and the island of Astypalea.

The room was clean, tidy, nicely-decorated and comfortable with all kitchen amenities. The hostess, Mrs. Froso, was very kind and hospitable. The room offered no breakfast but some fresh juice, milk, coffee and other products were available that was perfect for a light morning snack! Mrs Froso also facilitated our late departure from the room which allowed us to enjoy our last day in the island. The room was cleaned daily and we also got fresh towels. Not many studios in Greece offer all these services and hospitality! The room has a nice little patio but the inner yard of the property may get a bit noisy. Still though with the windows shut, the room is very quiet and cool. The room is in a village called Livadi very close to Chora and just right next to the beach! The restaurant next to the rooms is excellent too with delicious Greek and local food/products and very friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Galaxy. The views from the balcony are spectacular and can't be beat. The space is comfortable and very nice for two. The communication was easy with host and a transfer from the airport was much appreciated and helpful. The father of the house was very easy to be in touch with and held ir luggage because our ferry was not until later in the day. Bed very comfortable, pillows a bit hard. Highly recommend Galaxy!
