Very modern, with two large flat screen TV's, Keurig-type coffee makers with pods, a superb pool and patio, etc, etc. Best value for the money we've experienced in years. We stayed in a Masionette and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. It had all amenities to cook, the beds were comfortable and the private pool absolutely made the stay! The entire place was modern and absolutely spotless, the air con worked well and a daily cleaning service is provided. The local beach, Voulisma and the Macamre beach club were great! Food and drink there were excellent and the ocean, although full of microplastics (which is really quite upsetting) was warm and very clear. We took a full face snorkel and could follow the schools of fish. Plenty of parking at the beach providing you arrive before midday. We got there around 10am, and had first choice of parking. Beach beds in the Club were £15 each with a minimum spend of £20pp required- easily done but well worth it. Each area had its only swimming pool also. I'd recommend hiring a car, so that you can easily travel to Agios Nikolais and Heraklion for excursions, supermarkets and lots to see and do. The area around this apartment is space and you'll get bored quickly, with the local bus service not very reliable. GoMega gave us a VW Polo Auto for £100 (fully comp, no excess) for our 5 day trip, well worth it!

Everything was great. Karin who welcomed us is very kind. The apartment is comfortable, the beach and a very good restaurant are very close, 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The view from the apartment, especially in the morning, is beautiful. Recommendation in every sense.

Had an unforgettable holiday at poppy Villlas and highly recommend it aspecisly for families with kids. The apartment is spacious and gives a Greek feeling in its lovely authentic furniture. Beds are comfortable and kitchen fully equipped. Nothing compares to the cinic view of the sea and the pool. We just loved sitting on balcony over looking the gorgeous view. Pool was fabulous. Amazing Beach in walking distance. Small supermarket snd a few tavernas also in short walking distance. Had marvelous holiday thanks to this great place.

Fantastic location quiet but only a short 15-20 minutes into the lake area. Room was comfortable and beds really comfortable. Downstairs taverna was fantastic staff amazing and superb views. Room had enough supplies to cater basic for yourself. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would love to return another year. Fantastic to sed this place is still run by the same family as 45 years ago when I had my first visit
