Our stay at House Anastasia certainly exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely stunning - the beach is a couple dozen metres away, there are shops, bars and restaurants on the beachfront and the location proved to be a quiet, wonderful place. It is only a short walk away from one of the best view spots in all Corfu - Porto Timoni Beach. We booked to stay on the same day and were received by the owner - Ioanna - with the most lovely and welcoming attitude. She was amazing with communication, always quick to reply, and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Our room had the most amazing sea view, was clean to an excellent standard and the best bit - the beds had mosquito nets which had turned out to be a horrific problem in our previous accommodation! We liked the place and her so much we even decided to stay another night which she accommodated for excellently. Due to our own mistake, we didn't have a way to get back to Corfu Town on Sunday (there was no public transport), but Ionna, again, went above and beyond and booked us a taxi which took us back to Corfu. Staying here was the highlight for both my mum and I and we certainly would recommend this to anyone. Pro tip: book one of the paddle boats on the beachfront and spend the day all by yourself on the water. Thank you to Ioanna for your warm welcome and help, you have set an impossibly high standard for our hotel expectations now. :)

The rooms with a pool on the balcony are simply amazing. From any of the rooms the view is incredible, since the hotel is on top of a lofty ridge overlooking Agios Giorgios bay. And there are beautiful swallows flying everywhere and butterflies as well. It's paradise. But to have a private pool on a balcony overlooking the bay in addition to everything else is truly to sit on Zeus' throne. I've traveled all over Greece for the past 15 years and the high end rooms at this hotel are an amazing bargain for the money. Plus, the people who work at the hotel are wonderful. It is a family business. Marios and Kostas really took care of us. We were there for our honeymoon and my wife couldn't have been happier. Just down the ridge from the hotel is a small dirt path that will take you to Porto Timoni beach in 20 minutes by foot. An amazing beach! And Agios Giorgios beach is just down the ridge in another direction. This hotel gives you amazing views and two great beaches in walking distance. It's a real hidden gem of Corfu and the little village it's in, Afionas, has several other nice restaurants and one great one also with an amazing view at sunset. I feel like this hotel and village will continue to grow in popularity, so try it out while it's not yet over touristed and still authentic.

Very comfortable room, with integrated kitchen and living room, and a great external area with pool and an incredible view. The staff is friendly and receptive. We were treated very well. Can’t forget to mention the delicious food at the restaurant and cold local beer. Beaches are close but accessible by foot only with some hiking down(and UP)hill. People with low mobility should rent a car. Special thanks to Angelina, who drove us to the Hotel while having a nice chat, and to Marco for the support and attention - appreciate the information about the local fest!

Thank you! This was a great stay. The third hotel we booked in Corfu and the best one concerning the price/value. We booked a family room for two adults/ two teenagers and got two separate rooms & two big balconies & a kitchen. Breakfast is ok and the walking distance to the beach is reasonable.
