Blue Gem is a perfect place to stay near Kastraki and to move around the south of the island. It's super clean, the owners are wonderful and make you feel at home, it's at walking distance to the beach and there's a supermarket nearby. The beds are very comfortable and the appartments are nicely decorated. Plus the view on the Aegean sea is wonderful! Highly recommended!

the room was lovely, the pool and view were both divine… and finally, the staff were exceptional. We loved the breakfast basket and Eddie went out of his way to make us comfortable. Excellent beaches of every description in both directions.

The host and chef were very accommodating. The attention to detail from the hotel’s decor (dreamy) to the meals were amazing. The ocean views from the hotel were better than the posted photos. The location iis on the most beautiful beach (least windy beach). Crystal clear water, white sand., and short a walk to rented umbrellas and lounge chairs. My husband and I lost a day of our reservations due to the high winds (led to cancellation of our ferry). The host/owner refunded the lost day without us even asking. We were so pleased and touched.
