Umlani Bushcamp is a classic African safari camp in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of Greater Kruger National Park. Game drives, bush walks and meals are included in the rate. Everything! The location in the bush was amazing. The rustic facilities was exactly what we were hoping to experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They could not have done anything more for us. The food was amazing. And then, there were the daily excursions into the bush. Again, amazing. Our Ranger and Tracker were very knowledgeable about all that we were seeing. They did amazing tracking and driving to get us as close as possible to the free-roaming animals. Each ride had a special happening. We wanted to see an elephant. We saw a mother elephant playing and teaching her baby, 2-week old elephant. We wanted to see a lion. We saw over 20 lions, including being in the middle of a group roaring/talking to each other. We wanted to see a rhino. We saw 4 rhinos meeting in a group as a mother seemed to be teaching her babies.Each ride was exceptional.

I do not even know where to start when describing how amazing our experience was at Simbavati Waterside. The accommodation is amazing - second to none. The food is the best we have ever eaten - massive thanks to Karabo the chef. The service is exceptional - big thanks to Erick and all the other amazing staff at the hotel. The game drives didn’t disappoint at all thanks to the fabulous expertise of Hendry the game spotter and Michael our driver - we saw the big 5 and much more. I would recommend this hotel and experience to everyone looking for a good safari trip. We left with sadness in our heart but happiness that we had such a fantastic experience on our first safari. It was our honeymoon and the hotel went over and above to add little touches to our stay to make it extra special. Thank you Simbavati Waterside for such an amazing trip.

The game driver was excellent at finding the animals, even spotting a chameleon at night! The room was big with comfortable bed and sofa.

Waterbuck Game Lodge Thornybush Nature Reserve terletak di bagian Selatan Cagar Alam Thornybush, berdekatan dengan muara air dan waterhole. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff at Waterbuck Game Lodge did everything to make our stay unforgettable. The rooms were gorgeous, with everything one could ask for. The drives were unforgettable, and while of course you cannot really plan on what you’re gonna see, everything in the power was done by our guide Matt and his tracker Solly to find the animals we were hoping to see. To see the beautiful Sengile, and to meet the youngest Avoca daughter, her mom, aunt, her dad and two uncles will be something we shall never forget!
