Featuring a private swimming pool and jetty, Kowie River Guest House is situated on the banks of the Kowie River. Canoeing, fishing, boating and water skiing opportunities are available nearby. Such an exceptional experience we had here. The host is incredible. The views are everything to die for.

Situated on the Kowie River bank in Port Alfred. MyPond features an á la carte restaurant, offering South African cuisine with a contemporary twist. The restaurant overlooks the banks of the river. The location of the hotel was convenient as it is right at the town center. The rooms were very clean and the moment you stepped into the room you were welcomed by a pleasant eucalyptus scent. The breakfast was delicious and we always looked forward to it. The service people were also warm and friendly and quickly responded to any queries.A great stay overall that I would gladly redo when I’m back in Port Alfred.

The lady receiving us waited out in the road in front of the accommodation to ensure that we didn't miss the place. We arrived quite late due to traffic. This was wonderful! The car park also has a security system in place which set our minds at ease with all our travel items still in the vehicle. The bed was fantastic and the bathroom had the best water pressure!
