If you want, you can also organise an encounter with the whale sharks in a responsible and organized manner. I left a piece of heart in Kitu Kiblu and I'll definitely come back.

The beach, airport, and city center are very close, easily and safely accessible on foot, as well as by tuk-tuk or boda-boda. Ali - the owner is also very nice and honest. He responded to all our requests very promptly. He advised us not to book the whale sharks tour until someone assures us that they have been seen the previous day. But I was very happy at your place and I can recommend Maweni absolutly especially for guests just coming by ferry boat as you could reach Maweni in a couple of minutes by food, as well very close to the Mafia airport. All the nice food and the taking care of everything I really appreciated. I was very amazed about the taking care of the beach and the garden every day, the view and the nice and open location.
