Beautiful location, beautiful interior as well. Haka House is beautiful place that hits into the environment very well (low building, solar power, wood, natural materials…) It is well maintained and exceptionally clean. Kitchen is well equipped, well organised and tidy. Dinning and lounge areas are really nice and have plenty of natural light. Building has sauna, laundry, patio, enough bathrooms and a few different common areas for relaxation. Even if you are not into hiking, it is worth visiting Mt Cook Village and staying at this amazing space.

Glentanner Park is a holiday park and activity centre offering affordable accommodation and panoramic views of Aoraki Mount Cook and Mount Cook National Park. Although I stay a night in this place, I love it anyway. The shared spaces are clean and spacious. The park is located near the mountain which provides travellers with a good view for photography. What’s more, the staff is so friendly that makes me feel like home.

Bella Vista Motel Fox Glacier is easy to find, situated right in the heart of the Fox Glacier Village. Only a few minutes’ walk from shops, cafés and restaurants. The lady at the reception was amazing, very kind, always smiling and always here to make things convenient. The place was big, quiet and very convenient location. Comodities was very good and the place very clean. We slept so well, that we booked again Bella Vista in Wanaka. The little plus, thanks for the tissues, we appreciated the gesture 😁

Fox Glacier Lodge is located in Fox Glacier and sits on the edge of The Westland Tai Poutini National Park. Free WiFi access is available. A quieter town compared to Franz Josef. Located just along the Minnehaha walk where you can see glow worms. They provide free join in tour at 8pm and we managed to catch it. Good experience! Love the hottub in the bathroom. Breakfast is self-service and they provide eggs, coffee, tea, milk, cereal and bread, good spread and comfortable stay for the price paid.

Located on State Highway 6, nestled at the base of the majestic Southern Alps, this hotel offers comfortable accommodation right by the South West World Heritage Park, in Fox Glacier Village. Nice hotel in a tiny town. Hotel is a bit older bur our room was modern and the bathroom completely renovated and comfortable

Nice kitchen, I guess some may have difficulty with European style or appliances, but we have similar, so no problems. I read some reviewers found the bathroom door was sticking or they didn't like the bathroom blinds. I'm reporting the bathroom door slides easily, and even if someone put their nose up to the window they couldn't possibly see anything. The property is as nice as the interior photos show. Remodel was very tastefully done. Thank you for the bottle of wine.
