The house itself is not big, but it does have everything one would need, plus a great panoramic view to the lake. The breakfast is served in a little restaurant nearby and it was delicious.

This is a work of art, which you can stay at. Every aspect of the house interior is thoughtfully and aesthetically decorated using vibrant, warm colours and richly textured wood. The toilet's cistern is a fish tank (no, really!). The house is situated in a large and extraordinary garden filled with trees, flowers, water features, and sculpture. There is (of course) a large number of peacocks, which you can feed. Kitchen, bath, and toilet are shared but very well equipped, and very clean.

Lovely clean simple accomodation in the middle of nowhere, but very handy for being closer to Milford Sound. A big thank you for the help we received to enable communication with the Milford cruise company to rearrange our cruise. Lovely little chalet that was clean and well equipped with stunning views up the Eglinton valley. I would love to go back there and spend longer exploring the area.
