EcoScapes is situated in 26 km from the centre of Glenorchy and offers transport to the Routeburn Track, which is 17 km from the property. The scenery is out of the world, the accommodation in itself is pretty self sufficient with modern gadgets provided. Loved the jacuzzi and the projector for some midnight movie.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Glenorchy Lake House is situated in the heart of Glenorchy. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Everything about this property was exceptional. Very pleased we made a last minute decision to stay here. Only wish we could have stayed longer than the 2 nights we had. This lakefront eco-property is located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, just a 25-minute scenic drive from Queenstown and 15-minutes drive from Glenorchy. This is not a "lodge". This is a work of art, which you can stay at. Every aspect of the house interior is thoughtfully and aesthetically decorated using vibrant, warm colours and richly textured wood. The toilet's cistern is a fish tank (no, really!). The house is situated in a large and extraordinary garden filled with trees, flowers, water features, and sculpture. There is (of course) a large number of peacocks, which you can feed. Kitchen, bath, and toilet are shared but very well equipped, and very clean.
