The hosts were very nice, the room was on the tight side for a couple with too much luggage (maybe best suited for a single traveler), the large bathroom was located down the hallway, the use of the kitchen was helpful, the price was agreeable.

Set in a quiet tree lined location, Golden Leaf Apartments is a 5-minute walk from the city centre and a range of cafes and bars. Location is very strategic which just made things easy for a travelling family like us. We arrived late evening however, the check-in was done smoothly. Facilities provided in the unit were good and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay there and I could say that we would re-book this place whenever we are visiting Invercargill in the future.

Really cozy hostel, one of the best I've stayed in. Lots of space in dorm rooms, very comfy beds with extra blankets for the cold and everything was very clean. Towels provided were a lovely touch for a hostel. Great atmosphere and cooking space really well thought out. Would recommend to anyone staying in Invercargill.
