The apartment was ideal—spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished; a place where one could comfortably reside for an extended period. The location was pleasantly quiet. The owner exhibited genuine friendliness and was exceptionally helpful.

During the week you can have drinks in the bar and nearby is a popular Portuguese restaurant with very nice food. Place to park your car as well and a garden with grass behind the units where one can enjoy the shade of trees. Value for money.

Great location, close to town and shops. The river is a close walk. Make sure and tell your taxi driver it is the Riverside GUESTHOUSE near the police station, not the Riverside Lodge out of town. Set on the banks of the Zambezi River, Caprivi River Lodge offers accommodation in Katima Mulilo. Stores and amenities are available in Katima Mulilo, 2.3 km away. All units include a seating area. Very relaxed and laid back place right on the river. Garden grounds with lots of bird life right out the door. The management of the property is now Caprivi Adventures tour company, so previous issues with management probably don’t apply. As they are part of a tour company, it’s easy to arrange activities. I had two exceptional birding outings on the river with Riian during my stay.

Juda Haus Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Katima Mulilo. High quality room with kitchenette. The location, a little out of town, is so tranquil. Viewing platform looking over the Zambezi gives a lovely view of the river with Namibia 500m away on the distance. Breakfast was good and the chef produced some excellent evening meals. Many thanks to the staff who went the extra mile to sort out a shared taxi for my journey on to Kasane.
