There were so many activities for the kids, they loved it (and so did I because I got to relax and read my book!). Staff was also excellent, very accommodating. Food was fresh, vegetables coming from the lodge's organic garden.

The hotel is very neat and clean. Breakfasts - in one word - delicious. The cozy atmosphere at the pool makes you want to stay there longer. It certainly deserves more than 3 stars.

But the accommodation itself is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, which gives you more privacy and comfort. The manager ensures that you are well-taken care of. The room is complete with all things you will need for a fulfilling stay. Luang Prabang is very much worth-visiting and one of the most beautiful destinations I've visited in all of Southeast Asia.

The wonderful hospitality of Vivanh, the hostess, and everyone (and the cats) here made my stay so pleasant! A couple of very nice restaurants around. The place itself is charming: in colonial style and by the river, the room is cool, airy and have terrace looking over the backyard. the night is so quiet that you hear insects chirping. The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.
