Set in Catania, 2.9 km from Lido Arcobaleno, Fontanarossa Airport Sleep and Travel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Stayed the night before a 6am flight so I chose it for the location. Federica and Martina were wonderful hosts and very helpful. Airport is a short walk but we didn’t want to walk with all our luggage at 4am, so they organized an early morning shuttle for us - we hitch came right on time. The studio apt is clean and cute. The apt is behind a wood gate, but because it’s located on the main road into the airport, there is a bit of traffic noise at night—but not too bad. If you need a place to stay close to the airport, I highly recommend it.

The property is very new, clean and has all facilities you may need for one night stay. It is very close to the airport (about 5 minutes walk). The host was super nice and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation close to the airport.

With a free water bottle in the room and free coffee/sweets in the Kitchen at the first flow in case you need a quick snack.

Mimì e Cocò shabby house is located in Catania, 5.6 km from Catania Piazza Duomo, 3.8 km from Acquicella Train Station, and 5 km from Ursino Castle. Roberto is the greatest host! We had to reschedule our arrival on short notice due to airport strike, Roberto reacted very quickly and still came to pick us up in the midnight! The house is near the airport, only 10 min walk (there's sidewalk and even with small kid there's no problem). The neighborhood safe and quiet. The house has a nice terasse. The rooms are small but clean and functional. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. Roberto is always reachable via WhatsApp, we felt extremely welcome. Highly recommended!!

This is absolutely the best way to catch an early morning flight out of the Catania airport. The hotel is very efficient, clean and comfortable. It is located where the rental car returns are located, and the airport is a short five minute walk. This couldn't be any easier. Check in was a breeze, as was check out. Very courteous staff.
