We loved our 2-night stay here. The house is comfortably sized for four, kitchen is well-equipped, there are clear instructions where needed. This is a family vacation home rather than just a tourist cottage, and it really felt like something special the owners were sharing with us.

Laxhús is situated in Laxamýri, 85 km from Akureyri. Free private parking is available on site. Husavik is 8 km away. All units feature a flat-screen TV. Some units have a seating area and/or terrace.... Everything! This place was absolutely stunning, cottages were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a few excursions planned, but pushed them back for another day just to enjoy the views from this place and relax. 😄

Vetursetur is a holiday home with a terrace, located in Aðaldalur. The property is 80 km from Akureyri and free private parking is provided. This cabin is not the most modern and chic but it felt so cosy and authentic. The lava formations around it were magical and it made for a great first base for us in Iceland and we stayed 2 nights - we really felt like we'd arrived somewhere really different. We love wildlife and were delighted to find a snipe on the porch on the first evening, loads of golden plover (including chicks), redwing and curlew. It was super cold when we arrived (weather obviously not the fault of the owner!) - about 4 degrees C in July, the wind was really going for it too - the small radiators were on and we quickly found the heater and were very cosy in no time. The bedrooms are very compact as is the bathroom but everything worked and was comfortable. We loved the inclusion of a good bean to cup coffee maker too. The location was excellent for days out in Husavik and Myvatn, we would have been happy to even have stayed a bit longer. It is off the beaten track, but the owner gave us super clear directions and we had no trouble finding it at all.

Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, Skógar Sunset Guesthouse offers accommodation 13 km from Húsavík. Each self-catering studio features a kitchen with a stove top, microwave and fridge. Guesthouse was very clean and cosy, with giant comfort bed 😊

Located 5 km from central Húsavík, Saltvík Farm Guesthouse offers accommodation with views of the surrounding mountains and Skjálfandi Bay. well equipped kitchen, friendly service. we love here!

Granastaðir Guesthouse มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ใน Granastaðir ห่างจากน้ำตกโกดาฟอสส์ 30 กม. Very clean, bright, and comfortable rooms. Great location in the countryside as a stop-over along the ring road and to explore the area nearby. Nice to take in the nature with the backyard waterfall, mountains all around, and beautifully cared for garden. Common kitchen was clean and well stocked with pantry staples, cookware, and dishes. Host was so friendly and welcoming!

Kaldbaks-kot cottages ตั้งอยู่ในฮูซาวิกของภูมิภาคไอซ์แลนด์เหนือและสามารถไปน้ำตกโกดาฟอสส์ ซึ่งห่างกันไม่เกิน 45 กม. We loved everything about these cottages! The view was amazing, the beds comfortable and the hot tubs were just perfect to relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing!

Located in Húsavík, this apartment features a garden with a sun terrace. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Very clean, big apartment. The owner lady was very friendly. The location was perfect with a beautiful view in a quiet neighborhood.

Everything was great - the location of the facility, the interior of the apartment and of course the view from the window in the living room, we spent hours there staring at the sunset.
