I had to stay one more night in Mangalore, but I didn't want to stay too far away from the airport. My travel agent suggested this homestay as the nearest location. I was happy to have a bed, a shower, a cup of tea and a nice chat with Raymond, a super friendly host, after an exhausting day. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but the homestay is situated on a quiet location surrounded by a wonderful garden. I had a very nice breakfast in the morning. Raymond arranged a driver who took me to a sanctuary and the beach the next morning, before taking my flight back home. If you look for a place with an authentic feel and welcoming hosts not far away from the airport, I would definitely recommend this place. I doubt to rate with a 7 and 8. I chose for the 8 because this place will be in my memories for a long time to come.
