We loved the cats who came to greet us each day, and the kindness of everyone who calls this place home. The location was great for getting around the island. Excellent location near the airport and within reasonable driving distance to major beaches. The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea from the balconies with a sitting area to have a drink while watching the sunset. Convenient parking on the property. Very quiet as the hotel is off the main road allowing for minimal traffic in the area. Rooms included AC, mini fridge, panini style toaster, electric kettle, and roomy standing shower. Hostesses were very knowledgeable with current activities and cultural events. They were prompt, courteous, and accommodating. They exceed traditional Greek hospitality! Tasteful watermelon, spaghetti with meat sause, and fried eggs are some of the dishes that may be provided with advance notice.

We stayed 4 nights at Olive Cottage , it is located in a charming countryside area , in the middle of the olive trees, but still quitte close from Adamas , the main city . Landscapes around are very nice , the place is very quite, no noise at all , the cottage is well equipped and you can eat outside in the shade and enjoy the terrasse . The owner is very nice, gave us very delicious figs from the garden and provided useful advices on places to see , activities , restaurants . A great place to stay !

We loved the family hospitality we got, it felt I was staying in my aunts house and very personal. I truly recommend for couples to visit or a small group of friends. We will definitely come back. We loved the offer of help with transportation back and forth. We will definitely recommend for people to visit with value of money and a proper Greek hospitality.

We absolutely loved our stay at Akrothalassia. Flora and Katerina were excellent hosts...friendly and helpful with great advice on restaurants and beaches, and they've created such a wonderful boutique hotel. Our room was comfortable and impeccably cleaned each day, the balcony had plenty of shade and the sea view was lovely, and we appreciated the shared kitchen for filling our water bottles, preparing tea each morning, and grabbing the tasty cakes that Katerina made. Don't let its close proximity to the small airport deter you...there were only a few flights arriving each day, and never at night, and if you're like me you'll actually find it cool to see them fly overhead and run out to the balcony when you hear one approaching. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!
