The facilities and rooms were extremely clean and all time. The restarting food is definetley one of the best in the city, serving both traditional Ethiopian food and international at the highest quality. I will definitely always recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the region. My friend and I stayed here for a night in December and loved it: the rooms are very nicely decorated and the staff is so helpful. They keep our room until late evening, (5 minutes walk) from Lake Tana, nice restaurants nearby, We made a boat tour through Yiganda hotel and the facilities was wonderful.

The staff are wonderful. Nati met us at the airport and helped coordinate all our tours in Bahir Dar. He even took us out to a delicious fish meal by the lake. I highly recommend organizing tours with him and if you are tight on budget staying at this place. It has all the basics that you need. Only one room's hot water shower works, so don't count on having that. But that's a small price to pay for all the other benefits.
