I was a stunning hotel, staff wanted to help in any way, they did a personalised schedule for me during my stay. Also went out of their way to cater for my vegan diet. Even on their bbq buffet the chef had prepared me a full vegan feast. I had been out there for 5 weeks volunteer working in another island, so this was my treat on my way back home. I was made to feel so special, it was the finishing touch to a special time.

Beautiful property with a very relaxing feel, however the service was 5 star. After 7 nights it felt like home and I did not want to leave.

Not only does it have giant tortoises ambling through its extensive gardens and grounds, but it is also a relaxing quiet place to stay, enjoy an alternative ecological environment and prepare for the next leg of your trip into Ecuador or return home. Katia, the hotel manager, was an excellent hostess, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both immensely. As the hotel sits within a coffee plantation, the coffee is very 'local'. The small swimming pool was pleasant on a very hot afternoon.

Very warm welcome. We were made to feel at home and enjoyed a really nice breakfast. Being slightly outside the main town (Puerto Ayora) made it feel very tranquil. Lovely green surroundings with beautiful flowers and banana trees!

Duncan Suites is located in Santa Cruz, 3 minutes’ drive from the seafront and 2 minutes’ drive from the Charles Darwin Science Station. It features free WiFi in all areas. There was nothing that I liked about this place aside from them having an AC.

Besides a hostel they also have a sort of travel agency and they helped us a lot. We got some really nice discounts. The rooms are clean, spacious, have air conditioner, hot water and private bathroom.
