Featuring an on-site restaurant, All Rankins Lodge is located in Tortuguero, within the National Park. Free Wi-Fi access is available in public areas at this beachfront property. The lodge is located between the river and the ocean, so you get the best of both worlds. The hosts were so accommodating and made all of the reservations for our tours as well as picking us up in La Pavona and shuttling us in the boat back and forth to town. The morning canoe tour with Manuel was our favorite tour so far.

Set in Tortuguero and with Tortuguero Beach reachable within a few steps, Chinitas Eco Lodge offers a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Guests can enjoy garden views. A lovely family run place set in a beautiful location. This is the only guest house in San Francisco, a quiet, pretty little village on the opposite side of the river to Tortuguero. Great room, good shower, very clean (and cleaned every day). Delicious breakfasts and dinner (available for good price). They organised a fantastic guide for us to take a kayaking trip around the national park. They also had a lot of excellent wildlife and bird guides available to look at. It was easy to pop across to Tortuguero either in the public boat or in a private taxi (not much more expensive and available anytime). This was a perfect location for us. It was quiet but you could walk into the village to see local life, have a meal or a drink, or climb the hill in the national park behind the village. Oh, and my son loved the table football and we all loved the hammocks! Would definitely return.

Offering a garden, swimming pool and spa, Aninga Lodge is located 3.2 km from Tortuguero National Park. More animals than I have ever seen and beautiful rooms. All of the activities were a blast especially the hike where we saw tons of birds and monkeys. The guides were super nice and everything -- food, transportation, excursions -- was really really well organized and convenient. The food was also great, and every meal was different. We WILL stay here again

With garden views, Laguna Lodge is set in Tortuguero and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The pool, the restaurant right next to the water and the buffet. Cool place with very nice staff!

Set in Tortuguero in the Limon region, Tortuguero Hill Rooms features a garden. The property has inner courtyard views. The staff was very nice, Dona Lidiette was very nice and attentive. The staff was very helpful as well. We loved it. There was a very nice young man called Jorge, very helpful. He provided excellent information. Amazing customer service.
