I stayed in the dorm with air conditioning and that was def the move. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. You can see parrots in the day time and sloths at night. I 100% recommend staying here. La Palapa will forever be in my treasured memories and heart. Thank you!!!!!

We partied into the wee hours, and the hotel is laid out so that nobody was bothered, instead they joined in and encouraged us. Fishing, swimming, beaches, horses, wildlife and honest, kind, hard working Ticos with good food and cold beer make Puerto Jiménez a really remarkable place. Don’t forget to grab a sandwich from the bakery on the main strip, that lady can bake bread.
