The staff is very helpful and goes the extra mile. Apparently there are many activities organised by the hotel, that we did not know about. When you are there, make sure to inquire about these.

Located in Shangri-La, Hotel Indigo Diqing Moonlight City, an IHG Hotel features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautiful hotel overlooking entire shangri la ancient city. Staff service is exceptional, especially Lhamo, Daisy Zhao and Dragon! They are very helpful and friendly and shared some tips about where to go, and gave free upgrade of my room (birthday treat). The room is very comfortable, and able to request for firmer pillows.

Yi's Hostel is located in Shangri-La, close to Dafo Temple. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Staff at Yi's Hostel were so amazing! When we had a flight cancellation, Kunga went above and beyond to help us solve the problem. All of the brothers gave us great advice on activities and snacks and taught us more about the history of the area. We would love to stay here again. Also the heated blankets were perfect for the cold nights.

Housed in a Tibetan-style building, Timeless Inn is located in Shangri-La Old Town. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, bicycle rentals and free usage of computers at the public areas. The place was very clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The hosts were so nice and gave us many tips about where to go, places to visit in Shangrila. Would definitely come back here next time we come back!
