You’re on the edge of a jungle, with wildlife teaming around you, it is incredibly beautiful. There are wonderful sounds of birds and bugs all day and night, magnificent stars, and such a peaceful energy. Dominic, the person running the show, is truly one of kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever met. And the breakfast served by fellow staff was amazing! The people alone were definite highlights!

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge is located in San Ignacio and is right next to the Botanic garden. Free WiFi access is available. We couldn’t rate Sweet Songs highly enough! Everything was fantastic. First off the location is beautiful. Yes, it’s off a long and quite bumpy road but it’s totally worth it. The scenery and wildlife are incredible! It feels so peaceful within the Lodge. We stayed in a Casita which was also lovely. They had even laid out little petals across the bed when we arrived and we were given a welcome drink too. The food was also fantastic. Great options for breakfast and lunch, the dinner menu changed daily and they made great cocktails too. We saw no need to venture out of the Lodge as it had everything we needed food and drinks wise! Most importantly the staff were all so wonderful - they genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay and went out of their way to help you, but in a relaxed and friendly manner. We can’t wait to come back here!

Set 6 minutes’ drive south from the town of San Ignacio, The Log Cab-Inn boasts facilities including an outdoor pool and a restaurant on site. This accommodation was prefect from the friendliness of staff to the amazing food. The cabin was big and we loved that there was a swimming pool but the best part was the quiet location and the birds singing. Amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Set in beautiful gardens, Ka'ana Resort & Spa features a spa, an infinity pool and charming rooms with terraces. The staff was excellent. Very attentive in trying to address any need that I had.
