Basically everything: room size, bed comfort, bathroom, cleanliness. Excellent breakfast buffet with some very interesting local produces (a delicious Thymian Jam among others). Several restaurants on site: Azerbaijani, Georgian, Turkish, and an Hamburger joint. We tried Kosebasi (Turkish) the first evening and we liked it so much that we went there three consecutive times.

The kitchen is small but functional, we appreciated the good, heavy pots for cooking. Silverware and dinnerware are plentiful although a larger chopping knife would be nice. The apartment is on the 4th floor (as noted in the facilities, there is no elevator) so it receives a lot of sunlight. It also feels more spacious than the pictures indicate. The bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and the shower has sufficient water pressure. Communication with the host is easy (& in English) and he responds quickly. As he does not live nearby, his mother will meet you at the apartment. The apartment is located in the northern part of town so it is a bit of a walk to the fortress but we thought it was conveniently located near many sites and the large NM supermarket (is labeled a convenience store on g**gle maps). It's in the newest of the buildings just off the road.

It's a perfect spot for those who seek peace and concentration, home-made eco food, historic sites and nature. In other words, Gnishik and this guest house, particularly, are just hidden treasures. I highly recommend spending a week here for recreational purposes. I plan to visit this place every season to charge myself with positivity and inner peace.
