Although this shouldn’t be an expectation during your stay - they were kind to offer drinks, food, and transportation. It’s not a resort, but a true authentic experience of what life is like on Christmas Island.

It has all the facilities for a long stay (we were there a week). It has a good verandah for outside eating. It is in a quiet area. All windows had mozzie nets :)

The bathroom was newly renovated, there was complementary bread and milk in the fridge, and in an island with limited mobile reception, the unlimited WiFi (up to 30 mbps download speed) was amazing! It let me do what I needed to do online for work after collecting data in the field, plus the complementary smart TV service (such as Netflix and Disney) was also very nice and was made possible by the WiFi. The hosts are also very responsive, friendly, and informative, it was a very wonderful stay overall! Highly recommend!
