Very hard to get accomodation in Port Augusta at the time but Lisa( receptionist) the legend made room for me and my children for a week stay in such short notice. Very thankful.

Originally built in 1883, the refurbished Pampas Motel Port Augusta is the last heritage hotel from the era. The owner, Frank, was really nice and welcoming. He showed us around the area and guided us on where to go for food.

Flinders Ranges Motel - The Mill is located in the historical town of Quorn and offers free parking. We were allowed to check in very early, which was very nice. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The motel also had a clothes washer for its guests.
