Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... We had our own private hot tub. It was wonderful. Location was very good. They have a spa at which we had a couples massage.

This is a beautiful home conveniently located a few blocks from the shops and restaurants in Kewsick. The owners are lovely and the house is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in England- get the fresh fruit salad and try the porridge- trust me! Also, don’t miss the freshly baked shortbread available daily.

Harbourside Apartment er með útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 29 km fjarlægð frá Wasdale. Það er 29 km frá Muncaster-kastala og er með lyftu. The spaciousness of the apartment was amazing. It was handy to all amenities and well placed to see the local attractions. There were many unexpected extras such as a spare phone charger, a CD collection and player, a library including local history books and the kitchen fridge and freezer were a great size. The whole kitchen area was really well appointed. The bathrooms were also spacious and the whole apartment was very clean. The views of the harbour and surrounds were lovely and there was always something interesting to see. Restaurants were all within walking distance, and despite their close proximity there were no noise issues. Parking was secure and easy to get in and out of. Would certainly stay here again.

The Samling Hotel er staðsett nálægt Ambleside og er með garð og verönd. Gististaðurinn er með bar og veitingastað sem framreiðir breska matargerð. Breakfast was incredible, staff was exceptional. It was NOT a cheap stay but we felt like we received the full value of what we paid. Highly recommend, especially for a splurge couple’s trip.

Hið nýuppgerða Elton Guest House er til húsa í sögulegri byggingu og býður upp á gistirými með garði og ókeypis WiFi. We stayed for a couple of nights in the Guest house. The owners make the stay very confortable and they help you with everything that they can (lake district walks..). There are some amenities in the house such as dards, pool table and a lounge with a big mirror. all the facilities are in a very good condition. I also recommend the breakfast - half buffet half menu in their lovely dining room. The area is very close to many Lake district walk starting point and the beach of the town was a nice surprise for us. There are some coffee shops where you can have a coffee with sea views. we completely recommend it.

The Boot Inn er staðsett í hinu skemmtilega þorpi Boot og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, ókeypis bílastæði, bar og veitingastað. Very friendly people, beautiful location with very nice garden, good ffod, nice atmosphere.

Meadowdore Cafe B&B er staðsett við vatnið Coniston og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis bílastæði á staðnum. The B&B was very cosy and I thought Frances was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed chatting with her about the area.

Bridge End Farm Cottages er umkringt fjöllum og er staðsett í friðsæla þorpinu Boot í Lake District-þjóðgarðinum. Gististaðurinn hefur hlotið verðlaunin Visit England 4, 4 Star Gold og 5 Star... I would absolutely recommend this place. It was such a cute and comfy cottage. It had everything I needed, a full kitchen, great WIFI, full satellite TV, and comfy bed. The view is an added bonus. I loved listening to the little crick right outside the window. It was so serene and a perfect way to visit the Lake District. Even though it is remote, I felt safe and secure. There is also an informative information book that has lots of different hikes, walks, and excursions that can be done within the area. I ended up going to a waterfall and saw an ancient Roman ruin. The host was also extremely helpful and accommodating. Stay here, it is impossible to have a bad time!
