Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... it was a nice experience..i loved it

Featuring garden views, Lake District romantic get away in 1 acre gardens off M6 provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 26 km from Askham Hall. The property was comfortable and equipped with all the basics. My children loved the outside space and trampoline, along with being able to see all the cars and animals. Even though the property sits very close to the road you cannot hear the traffic at all. It was great entertainment for my son.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Portland House is situated in Keswick, 3 km from Derwentwater and 17 km from Buttermere. This is a beautiful home conveniently located a few blocks from the shops and restaurants in Kewsick. The owners are lovely and the house is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in England- get the fresh fruit salad and try the porridge- trust me! Also, don’t miss the freshly baked shortbread available daily.

Featuring quiet street views, Harbourside Apartment offers accommodation with a balcony, around 29 km from Wasdale. It is located 29 km from Muncaster Castle and features a lift. The spaciousness of the apartment was amazing. It was handy to all amenities and well placed to see the local attractions. There were many unexpected extras such as a spare phone charger, a CD collection and player, a library including local history books and the kitchen fridge and freezer were a great size. The whole kitchen area was really well appointed. The bathrooms were also spacious and the whole apartment was very clean. The views of the harbour and surrounds were lovely and there was always something interesting to see. Restaurants were all within walking distance, and despite their close proximity there were no noise issues. Parking was secure and easy to get in and out of. Would certainly stay here again.

Located near Ambleside, The Samling Hotel has a garden and a terrace. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving British cuisine. Amazing views, staff, food and the hot tub outside was a real treat. Nothing was too much and as someone who was really worried about being fussy and having a tasting meal - Rebecca totally put me at ease and made me feel as if nothing was too much trouble.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Elton Guest House features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. We stayed for a couple of nights in the Guest house. The owners make the stay very confortable and they help you with everything that they can (lake district walks..). There are some amenities in the house such as dards, pool table and a lounge with a big mirror. all the facilities are in a very good condition. I also recommend the breakfast - half buffet half menu in their lovely dining room. The area is very close to many Lake district walk starting point and the beach of the town was a nice surprise for us. There are some coffee shops where you can have a coffee with sea views. we completely recommend it.

Abbey Apartments Modern ApartHotel for Tourists & Professionals offers accommodation in the central conservation area of Barrow-in-Furness Furness. The apartment is beautiful! There are three windows in the living room that look out onto a main street and provide great natural light. Apartment is spacious, clean, nicely furnished and in a well maintained building with parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Situated in the quaint village of Boot, The Boot Inn offers free WiFi access, free parking, a bar and a restaurant. Excellent Staff. Great Food. Good Beer and a Great location .I last stayed here 12 years ago and it was good but now it is exceptional.The Room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the Mountain.

Located in the lakeland village of Coniston, Meadowdore Cafe B&B offers free WiFi access and free on-site parking. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and cosy. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Location was exceptional Parking on-site convenient
