Location was absolutely gorgeous, a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the peace and quiet was surreal. The hosts very friendly and helpful.

This 4-star Victorian property just 2 minutes’ walk from the scenic views of Shanklin’s cliff-top path provides a calm get-away just for adults. This was the first time we stayed in a guest house and we loved it. Host David and Rosemary were very welcoming and warm. The room was clean and comfortable. They went over and beyond to help us with the information about nice places nearby. Breakfast was good and fulfilling.

Nastanitev New Stable Cottage je v mestu Cowes in ponuja verando. Nastanitev se nahaja ob obali in ima vrt. Nigel & Mary were absolutely lovely & made us feel so welcome. The cottage was perfect, everything was clean with some fresh eggs, milk & flowers on our arrival. Fully stocked with towel bales, washing up liquid, tea towel, hairdryer, hand soap etc. The rooms were all a really good size with plenty of storage. View of the sea from our bedroom window was lovely to wake up to every morning & it was a short stroll across the field to the beach. Perfect location to get to everywhere we visited throughout the week. Highly recommended & would definitely stay here again!

Nastanitev Tides Reach se nahaja ob obali v mestu Shanklin, le le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Shanklin Beach, in ponuja brezplačen WiFi. Perfect location, with the sea 15 yards in front of you with no obstructions to the beautiful view. Travelled from London which was unexpectedly easy with train and hovercraft on one ticket door to door. Apartment was beautiful and Stan and Norie have made it a "home from home" Arrived and accessed the keys without any issues after excellent communication from both Stan and Norie, who could not been have more helpful in assisting us. Spotlessly clean in both the communal areas and the apartment. Coffee, tea and the basic essentials were awaiting us which was great after our journey. There is a lift as you enter the building which takes you to the first floor apartment and is a godsend for anyone with mobility issues. Stan and Norie, literally have everything you'd have in your own home - A washing machine, microwave, hoover, fans and even a hairdryer. Both rooms have tonnes of storage and hanging space. There are two restaurants/pubs 20 yards to your left - The Steamer Inn and I can't remember the other name :) We were not driving so made full use of the island buses which can be accessed from the station off the main street in Shanklin. We used the lift to get access to the top of the cliff and if you're not too fit would recommend using this. Travelled to Ventnor on the bus £2 and went to the Smoking Lobster Restaurant on the seafront. Looks very unassuming and needs to be booked in advance but well worth it - Haven't tasted Lobster that good in years - Food has an Asian twist and is delicious. If like us and travelling on Public Transport or indeed, fancy a night out without driving, we found a lovely taxi driver by the name of Paul and he can be contacted in advance of any nights out on 01983777759. We will definitely be returning (If Stan and Norie will have us :)) and could not recommend Tides Reach and its owners enough.

The Sandhill is located on the Isle of Wight, a 3-minute walk from Sandown train station. The guesthouse has a lounge and licensed bar. It offers free WiFi throughout the property and free parking. Ideal location, dog friendly and park around the corner

This majestic Victorian manor sits on Ryde seafront overlooking the marina. It features bright, elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi and hearty, traditional cuisine in its restaurant. The room was charming, wth a very comfortable King bed; two side tables with lamps; a small table with 2 lounge style chairs, a writing desk with its own lamp; tea/coffee facilities and the heated rails in the modern bathroom maintaining a comfortable temperature. The old casement windows have a wide ledge, perfect for sitting and taking in the view - in my case the Esplanade and water views - gorgeous and relaxing. The Breakfast room follows the period theme with a buffet set up with cereals, pastries etc along with tea/coffee, there is also a varied full breakfast menu. The staff were fabulous, attentive, helpful, respectful and friendly, dinner was in the bar/dining room there was a great menu choice and a nice atmosphere.
