Location, location, location: We had looked for a combination of hotel and winery in walking distance to each other, and this one ticked all the boxes: you can easily walk over to Chateau Tanunda in about 15mins (and others are walkable too, if you don't mind walking 30-40mins). The hotel is part of a pub/restaurant - but the rooms are really surprising: completely new, with a rain shower, quite spacious and quiet (this being a Monday maybe, could be louder on a Friday evening). We also enjoyed the restaurant and a glass of wine on the front porch. There's ample parking in the back. Didn't see any breakfast options, but this was rare on our trip anyways - there's a bakery nearby to help you out.

Built in 1870 and boasting a hot tub, free breakfast supplies and complimentary WiFi, Eagle Foundry Bed & Breakfast is located at the gateway to the world famous Barossa Valley wine district. We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Tanunda's Magpie House is situated in Tanunda. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 42 km from Big Rocking Horse. Very well equipped home, comfortable beds and great location - super convenient for wineries plus a great pub across the road. The hosts were also very communicative and made check in/out a super simple process. Our thanks for a lovely weekend!

Located just 42 km from Big Rocking Horse, Villa Maria Barossa Luxury Guesthouse offers accommodation in Tanunda with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The house and quality of everything was first rate. 3 bedrooms with 3 ensuited bathrooms (plus another bathroom) was perfect for our group. We walked for dinner etc as it was close to everything.

Situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley, the Vine Inn Barossa features a solar-heated swimming pool, a heated spa pool, a restaurant and bar with a beer garden. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. The meals in the restaurant were delicious and great value, the room was very clean and had a spa bath.

Barossa Weintal Hotel is located in the heart of Australia’s wine country, within walking distance of several wineries and just 1 hour's drive north of Adelaide. This large, one-bedroom apartment was updated to a high-level design with great functionality. It lives like a luxury vacation home. It was one of the nicest apartments I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The common areas were also nicely updated. I wish we had had more time there. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nestled in the Barossa Valley, Australia's oldest and best known wine region, this resort offers a heated pool, fitness centre and tennis courts. excellent location, staff so helpful, accommodating. felt like we were regulars here and it was our first time. perfect stay, 3rd Accor hotel in 3 weeks we’ve stayed at by far the best. photos on web site don’t do it justice. restaurant fantastic.
