When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

Very well equipped home, comfortable beds and great location - super convenient for wineries plus a great pub across the road. The house and quality of everything was first rate. 3 bedrooms with 3 ensuited bathrooms (plus another bathroom) was perfect for our group. We walked for dinner etc as it was close to everything.

Barossa Weintal Hotel is located in the heart of Australia’s wine country, within walking distance of several wineries and just 1 hour's drive north of Adelaide. This large, one-bedroom apartment was updated to a high-level design with great functionality. It lives like a luxury vacation home. It was one of the nicest apartments I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The common areas were also nicely updated. I wish we had had more time there. I highly recommend this hotel.
