Price wise it is for sure not cheap, however for the same quality cottages you will have to stay in much expensive ones. Kind staff.

This was my favorite accomodation of all the 7 we experienced during our 2 weeks stay in Sri Lanka. Quiet location, beautiful garden, loved the decore, the rooms are so big, spacious, the mosy comfortable bed I slept in in Sri Lanka. Luxurious bathroom, everything was perfectly curated, attention to details and good quality in everything. Everyone on the staff is smiling, kind and willing to help with whatever you need. Breakfast is abbundant, indian,western and sri lankan options. I had such a lovely birthday surprise in the room (won't be a spoiler with the details...) - it really made my day! The manager was kind enough to even help us with laundry, free of charge. We highly appreciate all the support and totally recommend for your stay in Nuwara Elyia - you will love this place :)

Oferecendo churrasqueira e vista para as montanhas, o Thuring's Holiday Bungalow está situado em Nuwara Eliya, a 600 metros do Lago Gregory. The whole place, starting with the host Ruwan, is just delightful. Room was super comfy, well laid out with a beautiful glass enclosed outside area off the room which would be wonderful in winter. Bathroom was good, bed was comfy and room was a good size, and nothing was too much trouble for Ruwan. It felt like I was staying at a friends house. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly as a place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.

The views are exceptional and the rooms are very spacious with large balconies. But what I will never forget is the kindness of Aquila, and the chef. Aquila , the general manager, surprised us in the morning with a birthday 🎂 celebration , he had baked a beautiful cake and had decorated the table with fresh flowers 🌺 , he also had a gift 🎁 for me!! it was so unexpected since we had only casually mentioned my birthday 🥳 the night before ! Thank you again for your infinite kindness and your creativity !
