Everything was as great as the photos look. You can se that there was a lot of thought and passion put into the design of the apartment, with some touches of humour. The shower room is huge and super clean. Beds comfy, large dining table, big tv if you need, second bathroom. We would stay there again. For cooking, the basics such as salt and cooking oil you will need to bring yourself, but just about everything else you think you might need, is there. Location wise, it is only a 5 min bus (line 260) from Bad Schandau, and you can easily start your hike to many directions from the apartment. And the apartment is on a busy road but you don't really hear the traffic.

Very cosy and spacous flat, nice views from the balcony. The flat is well equiped and very clean. The host is very responsive and polite. We enjoyed our stay and the views and the hiking trails, the nature and the cosy town.

This historic hotel is situated in the town centre of Bad Schandau, along the River Elbe promenade, surrounded by the beautiful hiking terrain of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The accommodations were lovely and the staff was very kind

Situated in Bad Schandau, 800 metres from Saxon Switzerland National Park, Parkhotel Bad Schandau mit SPA boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the river. Everything from staff to the size of the room, location, wide selection of breakfast choices and local specialities, etc was perfect. Didn't expect that everything will be at such a high quality. Loved the view from the room and the little balcony, stunning location and the building itself full of history and charm. Although pool was a bit cold for the time of the year, the facilities were great and my partner still managed to enjoy a refreshing swim in the morning. Cosy spa too. Had a dinner booked at the restaurant one night and the service and meal was perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful place in Bad Schandau - I wish to be a guest in the future.

A large beer garden, a small indoor pool and 2 saunas are offered at this peaceful hotel. It lies 2.5 km from Pirna and 6 km from the A17 motorway. Cozy, comfortable hotel. 30 min on foot to the city center, but the administrator also gave us bus tickets, the bus station is near the hotel. Good breakfast and the restaurant menu in general. Nice atmosphere. Internal parking.

The pearl of Saxon Switzerland welcomes you in the center of Bad Schandau, 100 metres from the River Elbe in the Saxon Switzerland region. The Elbresidenz features a 1,600 m² rooftop spa. This is a good hotel and the staff know it. A consequence is they are professional, polite, do their jobs with excellence. The breakfast was great, rooms spacious and clean, and facilities immaculate. Although we did not use the sauna (external to our cultural needs) many guests seemed to. Bad Schandau is a great little town, worth the visit and worth using to access the National Park.
