Biwako Hanakaido

Ogoto Onsen, Otsu

Japanese-style rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding, while Western rooms come with beds and a sofa. All rooms all soundproof and air-conditioned, and fitted with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an attached bathroom. Service very good. Everything was explained to us in English (as we don't speak Japanese). And very detailed. Dinner and breakfast were really good..They took the effort to serve us different menus as we stayed 2 nights. Very organised.

The cleaning ladies who come in the morning are also very kind and we did our best to communicate through the language barrier. Overall I had a great time! It's very close to Hikone Castle and in the historical town area so it's easy to see the attractions.
