Traditional Japanese Ryokan was beautiful inside and outside. The views from our room and onsen was stunning! The staff was amazing and so hospitable!!

We’ve spent 3 amazing days in Ishigaki at André and Shizuka’s place. We really loved it, Especially the surrounding nature, closenese to the ocean and great, welcoming and open hosts. Next time we have to come back for a longer period of time. We highly recommend it!

Each room is equipped with a private bathroom equipped with a bath. Joya features free WiFi. The main attraction close to Joya is Kabira Bay. Apart frm that, it’s pretty far frm the other attractions. At night, it gets so dark in the area that you can get a clear view of the Milky way and catch the meteor showers! The hotel is super clean and I had alot of fun making the futon. The owner’s exceptionally helpful and helped me get familiar quickly:)

The food was great and the friendly staff created a nice and chill environment. Absolutely recommended!

The ryokan, set in a building dating from 2015, is 11 km from Yaeyama Museum and 18 km from Tamatorizaki Observation Point. The ryokan provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

The units are equipped with air conditioning, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a bidet, bathrobes and a desk. At the ryokan, all units are fitted with a terrace, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The rooms was really nice. We got a towel for each day and the stars were AMAZING.
