Hotel Akrotiri is enjoying a prime waterfront location in Akrotiri beach, near Santorini’s famous Red Beach and the archaeological site.

The terraced complex consists of rooms built in accordance with the traditional local architecture. All rooms feature sea view balcony, air conditioning, TV and refrigerator. Loved the balcony overlooking the sea. It had a breeze, and was shady in the afternoon. There were lots of open stairs which connected the floors going up the Cliffside. There were larger sitting areas with big lounge chairs on 2 levels which all could use. Under trees looking over the sea. Fabulous breakfast which you choose the night before! Loved it. Close to the Akrotiri Archeological Museum and site. Could walk to Red beach, and 5 or 6 taverns right on the water, only a block away. Great food. From the wharf you could do a boat trip which drops you to the Black and White beaches. They cone by every 1/2 hour so you can stay as long as you like and go to another spot. We loved it. We walked into the village in the late afternoon... about 20 minutes. Then we strolled the streets looking for the sunset, Great place. Loved it.

We liked the most the personal - everybody so friendly and helpful, we felt like home.

Santorini Kastelli Resort enjoys a secluded location just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach of Kamari. Surrounded by fragrant gardens and lush lawns, the 5-star resort offers 2 swimming pools, a spa and a poolside bar restaurant. The Resort is run extremely well, with excellent attention to detail. We were lucky to be upgraded, and very much appreciated it, however I would still rate this a 10/10 regardless. I would particularly like to mention the Restaurant/Bar Manager - she was friendly and very efficient, however what we really noticed was that she managed her staff really well - teaching the younger waiters with details/information and kindness whilst remaining their manager. We also would like to mention Nino (on evening reception) - he was so friendly, efficient, and helpful

The accommodation units include a kitchen and a parlour, as well as verandas. Each villa comes with living, dining and reception areas. Everything was perfect! The villa was very spacious and comfortable, well located close to Kamari beach in a quiet area. Additionally, Vana was the best host you can wish for: she was very attentive and made sure everything was OK, provided us with great tips to visit Santorini, helped making restaurant reservations, arranged airport pickup for us, etc. Thanks so much for making our visit to Santorini so memorable!
