This is an exceedingly comfortable, quiet and convenient family-run hotel situated on the very edge of the trendy old section of Nafplion, and directly below the Palamidi Fortress on the hilltop overlooking the city. The proprietor and his family lived in the building for years, and then renovated it into this very charming and splendidly upgraded tourist hotel. Everything in our room was newly decorated and furnished, particularly the bathroom and small kitchenette space. No breakfast served, but we were referred to an excellent local breakfast cafe a few blocks away, named Kalimeri, where we ate both mornings of our stay. The old town downtown is steps away from this pension, and is very lively and energizing. Is also near the harbor.

Nikos was an excellent host, he was really warm and welcoming and gave us lots of fantastic recommendations for places to go in the town, all of which were top quality!! The place itself was spotlessly clean, the view was astounding from the roof terrace, and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay there again!!
